2. Ground yourself with your five senses
This tip is deceptively powerful. A mental exercise to provide immediate relief at times when you feel anxious.
*Look slowly around yourself.
Look for and make a mental note of 5 things which you can see.
Now find 4 things which you can touch.
Listen carefully for 3 separate things you can hear,
Concentrate until you find 2 things you can smell and
1 thing you can taste.
*repeat as necessary
