About Me

My name is Tracy Bond

Inspire Power is the name of my business of private therapeutic services and supervision.

I love my work. Yes, you read that right!

The reason why I love my work is that I enjoy getting to know people and what makes them tick. I love helping people to help themselves through difficult times. Relationships, abuse, shame, low self-worth and anxiety.

It can be hard to make the first move in seeking help but remember you have got this far and it will get easier. I can work with you and support your journey.

I am working online via zoom or over the telephone. I pride myself on finding the fastest and most painless way out of whatever troublesome situation a person is in and my job satisfaction comes from the joy and relief I see in my client when they suddenly realise that they are free to live their lives in a way that is so much more satisfying to them.

Since 2007 I’ve been working with people who have had a wide range of different issues. Of course everybody is different and my aim is to support you as an individual to work through the therapeutic process.

People tell me that they find me very easy to talk to and a good listener. I’m happy to hear it but what this means for you is that we will be able to start working together quickly and easily.

The first session is when we will get to know each other a little and we can both check that we’re comfortable about working with one another. You  are welcome to bring somebody along with you on this intro session but counselling will be one-to-one during subsequent sessions.

For me, the most important part of the therapeutic process is the ability to gain and maintain a professional relationship based on trust, safety & without judgments. I believe that this in turn allows for growth and development with any area of concern to you. I don’t have all the answers and will not give you an instant solution – we will work together to find the best route to the outcome that you want.

Before we meet, all I would ask is that you give some thought in relation to what you would like to gain through my services, so we may work together while you achieve this – working solely from what you bring to our sessions each week.

Psychotherapy
Psychotherapist is a term used to describe any professional who helps treat patients with emotional concerns, and other related mental disorders. They often utilize talk therapy in a treatment plan. Psychotherapists don’t have to hold a psychiatric degree, like a social worker or a counselor does. The term is not one relating to the person’s educational studies or specialization but merely an umbrella term. The terms “counselor”, “social worker”, and “therapist” are often used interchangeably. Some psychiatrists and psychologists also provide psychotherapy, which is also known as talk therapy — accessible today via many different avenues, including online therapy.
Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes. Guided relaxation, focused attention, and concentration are all methods used to get to what is often referred to as a “trance” or hypnotic state. Once you find a therapist, they will spend some time getting to know you in the initial meeting. They would work to understand what is troubling you about your life as well as what you would like to change. If you both agree that hypnotherapy is an appropriate choice, you’d likely begin the process at a later session.

NLP Coaching

As an NLP coach I am trained to detect minute clues in the behavior and communication of my clients. This enables the clients I work with  to understand themselves in depth. Together we can  uncover the limiting beliefs that clients have imposed on themselves and work with them to move forward. From this we work together so you can work towards your goals.

Supervision

Supervision in counselling is when a professional counsellor uses the services of another counsellor or psychotherapist to review the way they work with their clients.

As an integrative counsellor I use several distinct models of counselling and psychotherapy to best meet your needs. My practice is informed by various ideas from a variety of models, which include:

Art therapy
Behavioural therapy
Brief Therapy
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
Clinical hypnosis
Humanistic therapy
Integrative therapy
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)
Person Centred
Play Therapy
Relational therapy
Solution Focused Brief Therapy
Transactional Analysis
